The National Academy of Floor Covering Training (NAFCT) is inviting installers, retailers, contractors, inspectors, claims professionals and other floor industry professionals to attend the first NAFCT Technical Training Conference and Trade Show, Oct. 20 to 22 at the Dalton Convention Center in Dalton.
The event will be held directly following the National Institute of Certified Floorcovering Inspectors (NICFI) convention and with the American Floorcovering Alliance (AFA) FloorTek event on Oct. 20.
Manufacturer technical representatives will each be giving two-hour, hands-on and/or PowerPoint technical training sessions. According to organizers, the event is set to comprise 42, two-hour sessions over three days.
Additionally, on Oct. 21, NAFCT will be conducting a tabletop show for attendees to meet one on one with technical representatives from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This event is limited to 40 booths.
New participants in the Technical Conference and Trade Show include Rubio Monocoat, Franklin International/Titebond, Karndean Designflooring, Stauf, Sika, DriTac and National Fiber Installer Certification (NFIC).
Other manufacturers set to attend are AAT, Ardex, Capri Cork, CBC Flooring, Halex, Mannington, MAPEI, Novalis, Royal Adhesives & Sealants, Schonox, Tarkett, Tramex, Wagner Maters and more.
