CFI Announces Upcoming Milwaukee Hardwood and Laminate Installation Training/Certification

The International Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI) will offer hardwood and laminate installation training and certification in Milwaukee, Nov. 4 and 5.

According to the association, training will include: classroom and hands-on training of pre-finished hardwoods; factory finishes, nail-down, glue-down, floating installations, staple/cleats; job site evaluation (estimating, preparation, balancing floors, transitions); grades (on, above, below), sub-floors; effects of moisture; moisture testing procedures, acclimation; properties and characteristics and radiant systems.

The cost to attend is $495 and there are World Floor Covering Assocation (WFCA) scholarships available.
