Mid Atlantic Floor Covering Association Partners with Namba for Upcoming Estimating Course

The Mid Atlantic Floor Covering Association, in partnership with Jon Namba, industry consultant and trainer and FCI's editorial director, will host an estimating course Nov. 15 and 16 in CCA Floors & Interiors in Alexandria, Va.

This course will guide the student through the steps to insure that they have the understanding of how to do a take off of a blueprint, how to calculate amounts of material and proper seam placement for carpet and resilient flooring. All types of floor covering will be extensively covered.

According the association, the course will feature hands-on involvement of take offs, estimating tools, usage factors and material requirements and will give students take away formulas for estimating as well as a guide for future reference.
