Bosch has unveiled the GBH2-26 1-inch SDS-plus Bulldog Xtreme Rotary Hammer.
Weighing only 6.4 lbs., GBH2-26 features an upgraded 8.0-amp motor that provides outstanding performance and delivers 2.0 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy and 0-4,000 impacts per minute.
GBH2-26 offers one-inch diameter capacity and three modes for maximum versatility: drilling only, hammer drilling and chiseling. The user can optimize the chiseling angle with Vario-Lock positioning. A pistol-style, ergonomic handle with a soft-grip provides comfort.
“The job of any rotary hammer is to perform in tough applications and tough conditions,” said Mike Iezzi, product manager, corded products, Robert Bosch Tool Corp. “The Bosch GBH2-26 Bulldog Xtreme is the latest in a line of heritage rotary hammers built from the user’s point of view. That means maximizing power and minimizing weight. Users have told us they want to get the job done with a tool that doesn’t break their back, but can handle just about any level of concrete.”
GBH2-26 has a rotating brush plate that provides equal power in reverse and ensures long brush life. In addition, a variable-speed reversing trigger (integral clutch) offers accurate bit starting and removal of bound fasteners or bits so users can get the job done more quickly. The SDS-plus bit system allows for tool-free bit changes with automatic bit locking. The tool has a long power cord with flexible ball grommet that pivots 35-degree to minimize cord wear and tear.
