Nail Gun Depot, an international e-commerce retailer of nail guns, staplers and screw fastening systems, has launched its first manufacturer-sponsored product duel, the Screw Gun Showdown, which is began on Feb. 2 and goes through March 2.
The competition features two screw fastening systems, Senco DuraSpin and Simpson Strong-Tie Quik Drive, and throughout the campaign, customers will have the opportunity to compare each brand for its features, form and functionality. At the conclusion of the challenge, those who participate by purchasing a DuraSpin or Quik Drive screw system will determine which manufacturer carries the most clout on Nail Gun Depot.
Customers who utilize the promotional code “screwgun” while placing an order on Nail Gun Depot’s website will receive a special discount on participating DuraSpin and Quik Drive systems—as well as a free two-pack of DuraSpin bits or a free Quik Drive decking nose clip with their respective purchase.
To maximize momentum, at the promotion’s end, one Senco customer will be selected to win a DS425-AC unit, while one Quik Drive customer will be selected to win a PRO200 drywall attachment.
“For the first time in 15 years, we are excited to create some friendly competition between two of our most popular brands,” commented Phil Burkhart, COO of Nail Gun Depot. “Our goal is to draw attention to the positive attributes of each manufacturer, generating extra buzz about their products in a fun manner. Both screw systems offer excellent quality and value, so at the end of the day, everyone wins.”
