NTCA to Host Installation Challenges Webinar

The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) will host a Webinar, Meeting the Challenges for Tile & Stone Installations—New vs Renovation Projects, on Tuesday, March 24 at 1 p.m. CDT.
According to the association, this educational presentation is designed to assist tile and stone industry professionals consider the major factors for successful installations in today’s market. Many common practices in construction create obstacles for tile installers and installation products in new and renovation projects, especially on fast track projects. Knowing what these obstacles are and how to overcome them can save time, energy and help avoid future repair costs.
Facilitated by Mike Micalizzi, senior director of technical services for Custom Building Products, the presentation will discuss issues with new concrete vs. existing finishes, new building materials and their effect on installations' requirements for large and heavy tile and product solutions for specifications to address installation challenges.
