Lignomat Develops Dual

Lignomat has developed true dual-depth pinless meters, which are calibrated to measure moisture in hardwoods, engineered floors, OSB, AdvanTech, plywood and other sub floors as well as horizontal, vertical and strand bamboo. A qualitative scale for concrete moisture is included. All calibrations are available for a measuring depth of 1/4” and 3/4” deep. 

The dual-depth feature has proven valuable for flooring applications, said the company. Thinner floor planks, dryness of waterborne finishes and installed hardwood floors can be measured without including the subfloor or the concrete underneath. Using both measuring depths, settings for engineered floors can be customized.

Dual-depth is available for the Ligno-Scanner SDM (pinless meter), Ligno-DuoTec BW (pinless meter and RH meter), Ligno-Versatec (pin, pinless and an RH meter), Ligno-Duotec BW and the Ligno-VersaTec, which can all be used for in-situ RH testing in concrete.
